the past inspiring a purpose for a prosperous future
The APF was launched at Black Star Square, just a few meters away from one of the many slave castles in Ghana that hold Africa’s painful history of slavery and oppression. It was symbolically important to begin the APF’s journey here, to commit ourselves to turning that pain into a purpose dedicated to realising prosperity for Africa’s people.

The Shareholder/s, with the Board of Directors, through the Committees determine the projects & ensure it’s implementation through funding & project management.
The APF Board consists of 8 Directors, who are required to have relevant knowledge, skills, experience, and independence of mind to fulfill their responsibilities, have a record of integrity and good repute, and have sufficient time to fully carry out their responsibilities.
